CyprusUpdates.com launched in December 2010 to provide a friendlier news source for people living in or simply interested in Cyprus.  Our aim is not to be yet another newspaper but more of an observer of the news events on this island as they are reported by the regular press and other internet based sources. We want to give the opportunity to you, the readers, to express your opinions and engage into discussion with other readers.
The content and topics of our articles are not necessarily expressing our personal opinions. All articles are in English even though occasionally the original source might be in Greek or Turkish. It is strongly recommended that all comment posts are also made in English in order to help communicate your message to as many readers as possible
