An armed robbery took place about an hour ago in Nicosia Cooperative Savings Bank in Engomi, Nicosia. An unknown man entered the branch wearing a hat and glasses pretending to be customer. At some point with the threat of gun asked the bank teller for money and fled the scene on foot. 15000 euro were stolen.

Note that recently bank tellers were given instructions to restrict entry to the Bank for people who cover features of their face.
