Tomorrow Sunday, the founding meeting will be held for the first political party in Cyprus for animal rights and welfare. The new party will take part with 3 candidates in the European Parliament elections that will be held on the 25th of May while the plan is to make a stronger appearance in the parliamentary and municipal elections of 2016.

Member of the movement Kyriacos Kyriacou stated that the aim of the Animal Party Cyprus, is to give voice to those who don’t have one. He added that the relations of people and animals are interrelated and its required for those who truly care about animals to be part of the decision that affect them.
