A robbery was averted last night at a 24hour kiosk in Paphos. The thief entered the kiosk at Akamantidos Street and under the threat of a knife asked for the cashier money in English, from the Romanian employee of the kiosk. The woman didn’t panic, sounded the alarm and pulled out a broom stick, the wannabe thief got scared and run away without any spoils.
