6000 students of University of Cyprus are voting today for their new union leadership. The elections are of great importance to the political parties because their results will give an indication of things to come in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The voting process is similar to the parliamentary elections with five factions having a list of list of candidates they support and students may only vote candidates from one faction.
