New incident with Palestinian asylum seekers in Larnaca. Today at around 14:00 a group of 70 Palestinian asylum seekers were taken to a hotel in Larnaca where they were to stay with the expenses paid by the Cyprus government. 41 of them signed accepting their accommodation while the rest 29 did not approve their free accommodation and became angry, to the point that one of them took his wife and left the premises and on his way out while driving attempted to run a police man over with his car. The other policemen who witnessed the event, tried to stop the Palestinian man, only to be attacked by the rest of the Palestinians. The driver was arrested.
