A big surprise was waiting for the Drug Law Enforcement Unit (DLEU / YKAN) yesterday at a house of a 30 year old from Polis Chrysochous. The policemen entered the house with a warrant to investigate based on information they had about drug use in the house when the owner in his attempt to escape attacked one of the police officers and ordered his pit-bull dog to attack. The two policemen suffered minor injures and were taken to the local hospital, where one of them was kept in for further treatment.

During the investigation of the house the police found 70grams of cannabis, a handgun and five full military ammunition clips.
