262 arrested in Nicosia during the 3 days of Christmas for driving while under the influence of alcohol after a total of 4896 checks according to the Director of Traffic Deparment of the police. 1341 were fined for speeding and 9 were arrested for driving at more than 50km over the speed limit. According to the police the hunting will continue with zero tolerance until January 6th.
